Denver Aquarium Colorado Ocean
Journey is located at 700 Water Street just off I-25 at Exit 211 and
then south following the signs. A different kind of a an aquarium with
one of the main features a story and display of how the water travels
from the Rockies to the ocean with many fish exhibits along the way.

Denver Botanic Gardens Denver Botanic

Molly Brown House Home of the
"Unsinkable" Molly Brown, Titanic heroine, restored to its original
Victorian splendor. All tours are guided and last 45 minutes. Group
tours by reservation only; walk-ins welcome. Available for private
events. Open Tues.-Sat. at 10 a.m.; Sun. at Noon; Open 7 days a week

Mount Evans The Mount Evans
Scenic Byway is America's highest paved highway. The drive to the top
and a visit to Summit House is a favorite attraction to both native

Colorado. Called "the most scenic railroad in America" This ride

Six Flags
Elitch Gardens Denver. About one hour from Ft Collins. The park
states they are full of world class thrills and adventure. They get a
thumbs up from my kids and grandkids. The park features more than 50
rides, shows and attractions. They also have a tropical water park.

Ski Train Winter and Summer schedules.
Train leaves from Union Station in Downtown Denver and travels the
historic Moffett Tunnel route to Winter Park Ski Area on the western
slope of the Rockies. This is a truly scenic ride and fun for adults
and children alike.

South Park Colorado A
huge expanse of untamed wilderness and an escape from the city hassle
kind of place, located almost in the center of the state. This area
is a huge valley surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides and is
dominated by the city of Fairplay.

US Mint Mint Gift Shop: Open
Mon-Fri from 8:00 am to 3:30PM. The store is located directly adjacent
to the Mint Tour Entrance, on Cherokee Street. The Mint does not
provide parking. However, there are commercial lots in the area and
metered parking on the streets. There are no restaurants on the
premises. Tours of students and youth groups (grades kindergarten
through 12), and organized military and veteran groups may be arranged
through the Office of Exhibits and Public Services at the Denver Mint
at (303) 405-4755, by appointment only. Tours for students, youth
groups, scouts, seniors, military, veteran and other organized groups
may be arranged directly through the Public Affairs Office at the
United States Mint at Denver at (303) 405-4759. Three weeks advance
notice is required for scheduling and security clearances. For spring
and summer tour requests, eight weeks, or more advance notice is
recommended. Visitors under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an
adult.
