I am a Colorado native. My wife and I have lived and worked in Fort Collins most of our lives. I am married and have three great children and six beautiful grand children. I grew up in Denver and after high school went to a short stint in the Navy. I came back to Ft Collins to go to college at CSU. Except for two short work stints out of the state I have been here ever since. My wife and I were fortunate enough to quit work for a while and travel around this country in an RV. We spent seven years visiting, working and staying in many areas of this country. We met some really great people and had a fantastic time with unforgettable experiences.

I have been  involved in business in Colorado and mostly Ft. Collins since 1961. My background in business is extremely varied. I have been a builder, Realtor and loan officer in the real estate industry. I have owned newspapers, sign companies, billboard and advertising and marketing agencies.  We had a short career of ownership in the retail business and I have been a securities trader too. I now and have been for over five years involved in the internet and web publishing and consulting business.

I launched the about sites to give people in Northern Colorado a complete source for "things to-do" besides work. This is why we concentrate on the subjects of events, entertainment, the arts, movies, restaurants and the like. I felt that this region is growing together and many towns offer "things to do" and it is but a short drive away to see something unique. And as our area grows bigger  there will be more opportunities and more new things to do and new places to go. If we can add anything please let us know.

Further we run across some real deals on certain items and also try to pass these on to readers and visitors. There is a big myth, I feel,  that the quality of goods suffer because the price is lower. That may be in some cases but there are products and sources where the quality is the same but prices vary widely different. One example is printing ink and toner.
