Friday October 20th area kids now have a hair salon they can call
their own. Lollilocks Kids Salon, where children can have their hair
and nails done, ear piercing and throw a birthday party all at the

PRCA National Finals Rodeo Qualifier Event For the second year the PRCA Championship Rodeo will be held in Fort
Collins. With little fan-fair this Rodeo attracts the best of the best

Colorado Ski Season Opens
A-Basin wins the trophy for the first ski area to
open for the 2006-07 ski season. A-Basin is of course Arapahoe Basin
Ski Area which is located at the western side of the continental
divide at the base of Loveland Pass. Due to both it's very high
altitude and it's snowmaking equipment A-Basin opened one run on
Friday October 13.

Chapunga Sculpture Park at Centerra. The
Chapunga Sculpture Park is going to be the first and only permanent
collection of Chapungu Sculpture in the United States. When it is
complete it will have 80 pieces. The park is a joint venture of
McWhinney Enterprises developer of the Centerra area and Roy and
Marcie Guthrie owners of the Chapungu Gallery located in the Promenade
Shops. The Guthrie's sculpture collection has toured all over the
world.

Trick or treat is Old Town
square and downtown Fort Collins this Halloween. This event is
designed for the wee little ones and there parents. The festivities
start at 10:00AM in Old Town Square on Tuesday October 31 and ends

Elk Fest a
Huge Success (Publisher) - The Elk Fest of Colorado held in
Estes Park ever year by the elk has now set people records as well.
The elk gather for the annual rut and at the same time the aspen turn
bringing even more people to the Estes Valley and Rocky Mountain
National Park. We have been going to this event for many years now
and I will have to say even before the official records are out that
there were a record number of people at this years event.
