The Promenade Shops at Centerra

The Promenade Shops At Centerra located at I-25 and Highway 34 on the east side of Loveland is the new lifestyle center developed by Poag & McEwen of Memphis, Tenn. and McWhinney Enterprises of Loveland. The shops  contain 700,000 square feet of retail space.  The Shops At Centerra will bring a dramatic addition to the retail shopping public of Northern Colorado.

The shops are easily reachable from Fort Collins and the small surrounding towns as well. It is located just north of the I-25 highway 34 Interchange. This center was well planned and has new highways planned just for them. It is also reached from Centerra Parkway which runs all the way north to Windsor and then on to Fort Collins.

The center is anchored by Macy's, Barnes and Noble, Dicks Sporting Goods and a fourteen screen movie theater. The Lifestyle Center has over 60 stores and twelve restaurants. Some of the restaurants like PF Chang's, Rock Bottom and On the Border are new to this area.

Another great feature of The Promenade Shops at Centerra is the Chapunga Sculpture Garden and gallery. The garden features over 80 sculptures from the artists of the Shona Tribe of Zimbabwe. The park is centered around a small natural running water feature and wetlands area with pond.

On the main square of the center is a large display area where seasonal events are held and in the winter they feature an ice skating rink. Also at Christmas the center has a gigantic Lighting display which grows larger each year. The feature is crystal blue lights which if there is snow it appears as a large winter wonderland at night.
